The Sherpa Bowl sets a rounded vessel on two sturdy legs, each ending in a bare foot with toes carefully defined. Finished all over in gold leaf, the bowl sits canted slightly forward, giving the piece a figurative, faintly comic presence, as though the vessel had found its footing and decided to stay.

A felted bottom protects the surface below. Sized for rings, keys, or small treasures, the Sherpa Bowl works on a vanity in the bedroom, a desk in the study, or a bar cart in the living room, where it tends to start a conversation.
