Introducing The Scenario Table

Posted on November 08, 2016 by Kelly Keenan | 0 Comments

Style your table like a designer with our bold, overstated, and sparkling collection of dinnerware, stemware, and serving pieces in exquisite bone china and porcelain. Our obsession with mixing pattern, color, and texture will help you to create a table setting that will inspire even your most discriminating guests. Why not pair an alluring crystal-studded dinner plate with a fanciful butterfly salad plate? Throw in a bright pink espresso cup for a pop of color, and voila, you have an affair to remember! We know it’s hard to give up on your basic whites. Try an easy update by incorporating our delicious marble-patterned dessert plates, or slip in a deco dinner plate with an accent of green and gold. Gorgeous. The art of setting a beautiful table starts with our Scenario Table collection. It’s dinnerware, well done. SHOP THE COLLECTION >

The (New) Industrial Revolution

Posted on October 13, 2016 by Kelly Keenan | 0 Comments

It's industrial and oh, so chic! We call it Urban Rustic and it’s one of our favorite scenarios, as the design aesthetic draws romance and inspiration from old factories, laboratories and urban materials. We find its beauty in aged metals,  reclaimed wood, hides, leathers and cement. If you have an open floor plan or loft space to embrace it, you can create your entire home around the look. Not fully committed? Add one of our reclaimed accent tables, an iron chandelier (with Edison bulbs) or layer on a hide rug to a modern space for balance, warmth or texture. We love using a rope or cage pendant over bedside tables or a few over an island to incorporate the look. The furnishings and accessories are timeless, neutral, natural, and simple, making them the ultimate design weapon in every designer’s toolbox. Whether you add in an authentic reclaimed piece or a new piece that has been inspired by the design trend, it will add rustic beauty and an instant update that comes straight from the past. // SHOP THE SCENARIO

WOW NOW! It’s every interior designer’s secret weapon for making a room get noticed. It’s that unusual and unexpected visual pop that draws your eye and leaves an impression. It’s the standout piece that gives a room its personality. We call it the wow factor and it turns boring into bravo!

You can master the art of the wow by incorporating contrasting color, texture or variations in scale to a room. A sculptural chandelier, a piece of bold artwork or an oversized mirror will make a statement, especially in a small space! If your living room is overrun with neutrals, place a whimsical or colorful pillow strategically on your sofa or update your floors with a colorful or patterned rug. Don’t underestimate the impact of interesting, exotic sculpture on your cocktail table or bookshelf - it's greater than you imagine!

So think outside of the box and inside the wow, because life’s too short to be quiet and wear beige…FIND YOUR WOW>

A Call Of The Wild?

A CALL OF THE WILD? We like to think of it as a sophisticated safari - and it’s all of those exotic accents that designers never stop obsessing over. When it comes to these natural beauties, we are loving the sleek texture of snakeskin and shagreen embossed leathers on furniture pieces and accessories and how they combine perfectly with soft and glamorous sheepskin rugs, pillows and ottomans. Natural cowhides continue to trend on benches, pillows and as floor coverings. While they are usually shown as nature intended, we also adore them printed with graphic zebra or cheetah patterns. Horn is forever gorgeous as sculpture either placed effortlessly on a bookcase or mounted more dramatically to create a focal point in a room. Bring Scenario Home’s collection of natural textures, patterns and luxurious softness, all harmoniously at play, into your space, because, let’s face it… it’s a jungle out there!
